Another card for Verve July sketches, Week 4.  I love getting inspiration from sketches.
For this card, I used SU Very Vanilla CS and MME Fiddlesticks DSP.  The flower is stamped in Perfect Plum on DSP.  I thought it kind of matched the flowers in the DSP.  I also used a Fiskars border punch, SU Designer Frames embossing folder and Pool Party seam binding.  The button is also SU, So Saffron.

That's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by.  Comments are appreciated.

MOJO MONDAY 250, Verve July Diva Dare

I am trying to do better posting on my blog more often but sometimes life gets busy and I don't have time, but here's another birthday card using this week's Mojo Monday sketch.  The card base and mats are actually SU Early Espresso but look black in the photo.  I embossed the white panel with SU Finial Press EF (retired).  All the DSP are by My Mind's Eye. I used Nestabilities Lacy Circles die and Classic Circles die for the sentiment panel;  Verve Stamps Wishful Elegance (sentiment), Sunny Days (flowers), and One Person (leaves);  MFT Fishtail Flags Stax dies; and the ribbon is SU Baja Breeze Seam Binding. Buttons are from my stash.
I am also entering this card in this month's Verve July Diva Dare, which is to make a card or project with a birthday theme.

Thanks for stopping by.  Comments are appreciated.

MFTWSC80 - Sprinkled With Fun

This is a card I made for MFT weekly sketch challenge. I love using sketches as they help get my mojo started.  The DSP are all from an older Making Memories pad called Chloe's Closet. The CS is SU Very Vanilla & Bordering Blue (ret.).  The stamp set is MFT PI-Sprinkler Girl. I also used a border die by MFT and corduroy brads,  (SU-ret.). They actually match the bottom paper but look darker in the photo
Thanks for stopping by and "I Hope Your Day Is Sprinkled With Fun."

MOJO Monday 248 - Birthday Wishes

This is a birthday card I made for my daughter. Her favorite color is purple.  I followed this week's Mojo Monday sketch #248.  The card base is Whisper White (SU), the dsp is some older Provo Craft paper from my stash.  I embossed the solid purple with the SU Finial Press EF (retired). I used all Verve Stamps: Sunny Days (leaves), Wishful Elegance (flower & sentiment); and Love Notes (stamped label), and Verve Classy Label die to cut the label. I stamped and sponged the edges of the label and flower with  SU Pale Plum ink (retired). The sentiment is SU Perfect Plum ink. The ribbon is SU Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon. The brad in the flower is from my stash.

MFTWSC78 Don't Mess With The Princess

Kraft CS & White CS (SU); DSP: My Mind's Eye 'Market Street';  Baker's Twine from The Twinery. I colored the image with Copics and paper-pieced her dress.  I used SU ink for the background (Pear Pizzazz & Bashful Blue).  Button from my stash.
