Joyful Christmas Wishes for Merry Monday

This is my card for Merry Monday #114 - use sparkle, shimmer or shine on your Christmas card.  It has been a busy week and I barely got my card done in time.  The photo is not that good but the card looks so pretty IRL.  The card base is MFT Smooth White CS.  The mats are SU Basic Black and the DSP is from My Mind's Eye All Is Bright and Recollections Festivites 6x6 pads.  The silver glitter paper is by Recollections. The sentiment \ from SU Joyful Christmas and the snowflake from a retired SU set is stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with Silver embossing powder.   I added the SU silver ribbon and a rhinestone to the center of the snowflake.  That's it for my sparkly and shiny card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Grab Our Badge!

Good morning my friends.  It is Friday and time for a new challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - make a card "for a kid".  Our sponsor this week is The Paper Nest Dolls and the winner will receive a $25 gift card to The Paper Nest Dolls.  I am using this adorable stamp called "Caroling Snowmen" which can be found here.
I colored the image with Promarkers and cut it out with a Spellbinders Labels Two die.  I sponged SU Bashful Blue ink around the edges while it was still in the die.  I hand cut the thin black mat.  The DSP is from Lawn Fawn's Peace, Love, Joy 6x6 pad (love this paper).  All the mats are SU Basic Black CS and the card base is MFT's Smooth White CS.  The card is 5-1/4" square.

Now check out all the great cards by my fellow teammates at Christmas Stampin All Year Long.  I hope you can join us this week.  .

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I combined 2 challenges for my card:  Just Us Girls #246 and Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #224 at Karen Giron's blog.  Here is my card.
I made an anniversary card for a couple at church using My Favorite Things Gerbera Daisy die, Fishtail Flags die for the orange banners, and Blueprints #2 dies for the sentiment banner. The sentiment from Stampendous' Special Messages was stamped in Mememto Tuxedo Black ink.  The card base, yellow DSP and flower center is SU Daffodil Delight.  The orange DSP is from Making Memories Chloes' Closet (dotted) and DCWV The Spring Mix Stack (solid).  I embossed the white panel with SU Finial Press EF.

Merry Monday #113 - Season's Greetings

Hello everyone.  I made a card for the Merry Monday Challenge #113 - this week it was to use pink, silver and white on your Christmas card.
For my card I used SU Pink Pirouette, Brushed Silver and Whisper White CS.   The DSP is from Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 pad.  I made 3 pink poinsettias with the Spellbinders Poinsettia die and added a glittery enamel dot from MME Now And Then collection, along with the 3 small dots under the sentiment.  The sentiment is from SU More Merry Messages.  I paper-pierced around the sentiment panel and mounted it with form dimensionals and then added the flowers with dimensionals also.

Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes

Happy Thursday morning everyone.  It is time for our challenge over at Seize the Birthday and this week it is "anything goes" as long as it is birthday.  For my card I used this cute "Sweet Thing" by Penny Black and the current Seize The Sketch #22.
I stamped the image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics.  The card base and mats are SU Regal Rose.  The DSP is from MME Happy Day 6x6 pad.  The white panel is embossed with the birthday Cuttlebug EF so I didn't add a sentiment.  I wrapped some pink Baker's Twine around the DSP and tied a cute bow. The image panel is mounted with foam dimensionals.  Lastly, I used my Clear Glitter pen to add shine to the cherry and the wings, although it doesn't show up well in the photo.

My teammates have created some fabulous cards to share with you this week. I hope you will drop by the STB blog and share some stamping love with them, and also share your great birthday creations with us.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #112 - Santa Puppy

Good Sunday morning everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
I have made a card for the Merry Monday #112 challenge to use a Santa hat on your card.
I have used this adorable Santa Puppy from Cottage Cutz.
I used SU Whisper White and Real Red CS.  I die cut all the pieces of the puppy, added a little shading (which looks darker than it is in the photo) and adhered him to the panel with foam tape. The panel is embossed with SU Decorative Dots EF.  His nose section and the stocking are mounted with foam tape also.  The sentiment is from an older Inspired By Stamping Festive Frames set. The DSP is from my paper stash.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.

Christmas Stampin All Year Long -"One Layer"

Happy Friday my friends.  It is time for another challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long  which is to make a one layer card and our sponsor is Di's Digistamps.

Well I tried my hand at making a one layer card by printing the "Candy Star Ted" digi image from Di's Digistamps on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with Copics.  I them made a mask with Spellbinder's Circle dies and stamped an older gingham background stamp from CTMH in SU Wild Wasabi ink.  Then I used the reverse die cut and sponged some SU Light Blue ink around the edges and stamped some small snowflakes in Bashful Blue ink.  I added Polar White Flower Soft to the trim on his hat and coat.  I added glitter to the snow with a Sakura Clear Glitter pen but it doesn't show up well.  The sentiment is from SU More Merry Messages.  Lastly I used masks to mark off the section for the faux ribbon and used my red Copic to color it.

Now you need to check out all the great creations by my fellow DT members over at Christmas Stampin All Year Long.  I hope you can play along with us this week.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Graduation card

I made this card for my grandson who graduated High School last night.  It is hard to believe that he is a young man now and will be going out into the grown-up world. :) I am very proud of him.  I attended 4 graduation services this past week: my grandson, two 5th grade graduations (1 granddaughter and 1 great-granddaughter) and a preschool graduation (great-granddaughter). I enjoyed them all and am so proud of each one of them.

Here is my card:
The card base and mats are SU Brilliant Blue CS (retired); the numbers are from SU Memorable Moments; the sentiment is from SU Word Play (retired); the graduation cap is from a retired SU set also, all stamped in SU Brilliant Blue Ink..  I colored the cap with some Copic markers and mounted it with foam dimensionals. The graph papers is from Teresa Collins Far and Away 6x6 pad and the lt. blue DSP is some older paper from my stash.  The banner was cut using MFT's Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Flags Layers dies.

Just Us Girls - shaving cream technique

I got to play along with the challenge at Just Us Girls this week which is using the "shaving cream technique.  There is a link to a video with this technique over on the JUGS blog.

I haven't tried this before, but it is a lot of fun, even though it is a little messy.  I love the way it turns out.  Here is my card.
My background is made with the shaving cream, SU Pretty In Pink, Crushed Curry and Lucky Limeade re-inkers on Whispher White CS. I made several sheets so will be using more in the future.  I matted this with Pretty In Pink CS and mounted it to a MFT Smooth White CS base. The flower is made with MFT's Upsy Daisy Die-namic and the Wild Wasabi leaves are cut with SU Little Leaves Sizzlet.  The sentiment is stamped in Wild Wasabi ink, punched with SU Large Oval and mounted to a punched Scalloped Oval.  I added the Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon bow and my card was done.
I just barely got it made in time so I am off to link it up over at JUGS.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi friends.  I am playing along with the Color Throwdown #294 challenge this week.
I love these color choices and had to play along.  I made a Thank You card for someone special.
My card base is Sahara Sand, a Whisper White layer, and Coastal Cabana DSP.  I inked the edges of the DSP with Coastal Cabana ink.  I used my new Creative Expressions Californian Collection - Beverly Hills die to cut the pretty white layer and stamped the sentiment from SU Perfectly Penned in Coastal Cabana ink.  I stamped the flowers from Flower Shop and Petite Petals in Strawberry Slush ink and mounted them with foam dimensionals.  The leaves from SU Peaceful Petals are stamped in Sahara Sand ink on SS CS and inked with SS ink for more dimension.  I added a piece of Strawberry Slush CS under the die cut to finish my card.
